VMware vExpert is a global community recognition program that acknowledges and rewards individuals who contribute significantly to the VMware ecosystem. The vExpert program has several subprograms that offer specialized recognition for individuals who have specific areas of expertise in VMware technologies.

The vExpert subprograms include:

1. vExpert NSX: This subprogram recognizes individuals who have expertise in VMware NSX, a software-defined networking and security platform that enables the virtualization of networking functions.
2. vExpert AVI: vExperts that have the vExpert Avi status have demonstrated significant contributions to the community, specifically on the Advanced Load Balancing (Avi, or NSX Advanced Load Balancer) vision and portfolio of VMware.
3. vExpert Application Modernization: This subprogram recognizes individuals who have expertise in VMware application modernization solutions, including Tanzu Kubernetes Grid, Tanzu Mission Control, and Tanzu Application Service.
4. vExpert Cloud Provider: This subprogram recognizes individuals who have expertise in VMware cloud provider solutions, including VMware Cloud Director and vCloud Availability.
